COMPLETE FIASCO at Gomshall Level Crossing

Wednesday October 22 2025 at 1.18. A track cleaning train stabled at Tonbridge West Yard went past then the 12.24 Reading to Gatwick Airport (14.07) service which was 11 minutes late. Someone had allowed the track cleaning train to get in front. There are 6 new signals nearby apparently but maybe nobody knows how to work them. As soon as it was announced that this work was going to be done it was obvious it was going to be a disaster. Very disappointingly a BBC journalist simply copied Network Rail's press release, giving it a little credibility. No searching questions about the massive cost, or the long delays faced by road users for decades to come or how can it possibly be safer? If they really wanted to spend many millions on this line, then it should have been spent extending the electrification from Reigate.
