In this video, we visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Thailand’s most famous floating market, located about an hour and a half from Bangkok. We spent time exploring the market itself, but honestly, we weren’t impressed and felt it was overrated.
As part of the day, we also paid for elephant riding, a crocodile show, and a visit to a long-neck village. While these activities are heavily promoted to tourists, the overall experience felt like a total tourist trap and a waste of money.
In total, we paid £215 for this day out, and it definitely did not live up to the hype.
To finish the day, we visited the Maeklong Railway Market, where the train passes directly through the market stalls.
