The first part of this series focused on Pure Burning Abyss and how to play Burning Abyss without Phantom Knights or any other engines. I think it's necessary to understand that before playing PK Fire. The biggest mistakes that I see a lot of Phantom Knight Burning Abyss players make happen because they are not very good at pure BA. As for the Phantom Knight Burning Abyss combos, the main one that I try to remember is that if you have any 3 different PK cards in your graveyard (gy), you will be able to make a rank 3 without using your normal summon. This is really good because it means you can still make more plays afterwards and also play through traps, which is important against trap-heavy decks like Demise Qliphort and Demise Kozmo, any Card of Demise deck really. The Burning Abyss mirror too.
In the early game, you really want to Make Dante, Mill 3, Make Beatrice, Trigger Scarm, and get at least 1 PK card in the gy. Doing all of these will allow you to make plays for the rest of the game.
Mid-Game, you want to manage your resources and use them to make free rank 3s while also using your utility monsters to disrupt your opponents. One of the most important things is to know your deck list, it's like an inventory; you must know what cards you have available in your deck and graveyard at all times so that you can make the correct play. For example, do you really want to send your last Farfa to deal with a Castel or will Alich suffice?
Then I have an example duel vs pendulums, the full duel video is linked below btw. There was a better play in that game if I sent a PK on my opponent's turn rather than scarm, then I could have make 2 rank 3s. One with the PK combo and the other using Tour Guide. I also should've remembered that Pendulum Call protects scales until the end of the opponents turn. If I remembered those things, I may have been able to go for game. But Hindsight is always 20/20, right? =p
