Filmed from the marsh at Hambleton, access gained via Salt Marsh Lane. The bore took me by surprise as it suddenly rose with not much warning. The river was a bit swollen as it had been raining for the past couple of days. The bore was quite small here, but grew to produce a two foot breaking wave further up the river by Rawcliffe Road.
High tide at Fleetwood: 10.2m at 12:02
The bore passed where I filmed at 09:25
