Plat% means getting the Platinum trophy as fast as possible. Timing starts from New Game and ends at the second The End after getting platinum trophy. For PS3, you should create a new local profile before starting, so you can see when the trophies get unlocked and can confirm that you indeed got platinum trophy. I don't know if you can do the same in 360. PC would require you to create a new Steam account and repurchase the game, which obviously is not a good idea, so don't do it. Just make sure you have enough full-intel entries in the bestiary for Loremaster, as well as having full crystarium for Master Seal, since there is no other in-game confirmation for those.

This was the sub-20 hour dream we were hoping to accomplish. The run had ridiculous gil luck--each Adaman(tor)toise farming loop gave me at least 3 Platinum Ingots (out of a possible 5)--yet had pretty mediocre Dark Matter and Trapezohedron luck. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with my performance in this run.

This was supposed to be broadcast on Twitch. However, I faced strange internet issues in the middle of it, so half of this was not seen to the public, until this upload. I had to break the video into two parts, as YouTube limits me to 11 hours per video. I put in a 10-second overlap between the two parts so you can see they are the same run.
