ABC No Rio Documentary - The Art Of Revolution - 1991 with: Avail, Born Against, Drop Dead, Profits Of Misery, Aus Rotten, Nekhei Na'atza (Israel), Dirt (UK), One By One (UK) and Citizen Fish (UK). Each band plays 2 or 3 songs and the quality of those sets greatly varies. Some of the bands are interviewed and some are not. This was originally released by Tribal War Records on VHS in 1997.

This full length, two hour documentary covers the history of ABC No Rio going back to 1980, before they even moved into Rivington Street. They let the volunteers and organizers discuss their philosophies, motivations and challenges. Includes tons of footage from the venue itself: group meetings, poetry night, live bands in the basement, basically covers every aspect of how they ran their all ages, DIY venue and why it was important to the city and to the people.

The first minute or two of the tape is a bit wobbly, but it straightens out so don't get too impatient. This is the best quality version of the tape that I have found and the film is now out of print. Cheers. ~AJ
