We adopted Billie from the Alice Springs RSPCA as a puppy in 2009 and she adapted from being a desert dog to a surfer girl when she moved to Cairns in 2011. She was my first dog and I loved her like a child.
For more than 15 years, Billie has been an amazing companion, protector, and confidante.
Sadly, we had to let her go this week, leaving a big paw-shaped hole in our hearts.
