AbeBooks visits The London International Antiquarian Book Fair the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London's West Kensington district
Traditionally held in June, the Book Fair is the largest of its kind in the world. A truly international event, exhibitors come from all corners of the globe with nearly half travelling from mainland Europe, North America and Australia. There is usually around 150 exhibitors and they are all members of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, an organisation dedicated to the improvement of professional standards in the antiquarian book trade as well as developing the appreciation of the history and art of the book.
