Sketching a man with glasses - QUICK SKETCH IN REAL TIME

This is my ‘Sketching with Scottie‘ series where I’ll be sketching in real time from a photo. I am using a quick sketching style where I’m aiming to capture the feel of the person initially and then work into some details. I would love you sketch along with me if you’d like!

Sketching the glasses was the trickiest part as I didn’t want to ruin the eyes! I was also trying to work out whether shading with the side of the pencil or smudging with my finger was a better option but ended up using both. I hope you enjoyed the sketch.
