American-born singer Marcia Hines says she did not experience racism after moving to Australia at just 16 years of age.
The singer sat with Sky News host Chris Kenny to discuss various topics about her fame and success since moving to Australia, performing in Hair, and her role of Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar.
“I have to say no,” she told Mr Kenny after he asked her about whether she had experienced racism growing up in Australia.
“But I’m not looking for it.
“People should get around the table and have a good old talk, black and white, good old talk.”
