JetBoil released a brand new version of the popular JetBoil Flash stove and cooking system and I got early access to it. This is a first look at the 2025 JetBoil Flash 1.0L where I highlight the changes from previous versions, share some of the history of JetBoil that brought it to this point, and compare this new stove to both an old JetBoil Sumo and an MSR Pocket Rocket 2. Whether you love JetBoil, hate it, or are indifferent about the brand, watch this video for some first impressions about this brand new camping and backpacking stove, as well as some insight that might help you decide whether or not you even care.
