ARCAS (Advanced Rubik's Cube Algorithmic Solver) it's a robot which can solve a rubik's cube in 2 different ways:
1) Using an implementation of Kociemba's algorithm, which will find the optimal solution.
2) Using an implementation of Blindfolded method: M2 for edges and Old Pochmann for corners. This is not optimal, but it's still cool and it's implemented from scratch by me ^_^ I use this method when I solve the rubik's cube blindfolded.

This robot wasn't designed to break the world record. It was designed to solve the cube using multiple method and I wanted an easy and fast way for setup(scramble the cube, then put the cube in the arms of the robot and take it out).
As well, this robot can scramble the cube and can make a pattern on the cube.
I used 4 webcams for image processing. In this way, the cube can be put in any orientation. There are 6 stepper motors which will move the faces of the cube and 2 stepper motors to move the arms of the robot. The robot it's based on a microcontroller(Arduino Due). The desktop application was implemented in visual studio(C#).
Maybe, in future i'll try to break the world record or to make other robots.
