Sydney makes her first solo flight in an airplane as a 17 year old at KECG in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This video is the uncut long version of Sydney's entire first FAA required solo flight in the pattern with three takeoffs and landings to a complete stop.
She is flying N8784T, a Cessna 172 Skyhawk out of Elizabeth City State University Flight Academy. 17 is the youngest age you can obtain a private pilot's license.
