The final track from the self-titled debut album Iron Maiden by the band of the same name. Released upon an unsuspecting world in April of 1980, this record opened a new chapter in the world of heavy metal. I love pretty much all their stuff, but there will always be a special place in my heart for the early Di'Anno years. I was fortunate enough to see them live on their very first American tour for the Killers album as well. SO great!

This main riffs and solos are all harmonies, which is another thing that's so cool about it. I wish more bands did stuff like this - it's just incredibly creative. Funnily enough, in subsequent live versions and such, the solo section is played differently. Different on every version, I swear, but the solo harmonies I play here are what's recorded on the album. I wonder why that is? Eh, regardless - here, for clarification, it's Dave Murray on top & Dennis Stratton underneath. Lol.

I'm doing these cover videos purely for my own enjoyment - while I wait for the world to chill and the music biz to come back fully to begin the next phase of my upcoming planned project. Thought I'd share for anyone interested. I figure them out by ear, so any mistakes are solely my own. I think they're mostly right. Cheers.
