SEVENDIALS pay homage to 1983 Animotion pop rock classic 'Obsession' - featuring Chris Connelly and guest star Ashley Bad on vocals. Remixed by legendary producer / remixer and Killing Joke bassist Martin 'YOUTH' Glover.

Featuring renowned musicians MARK GEMINI THWAITE, BIG PAUL FERGUSON & CHRIS CONNELLY, uninterested in resting on their collective laurels as members of KILLING JOKE, THE MISSION, MINISTRY, REVOLTING COCKS, MURDER INC, MOB RESEARCH and PETER MURPHY, have come together as SEVENDIALS to create a staggering monolith of melody and malady, volume and velocity and a brace of brilliant songs. Releasing their now critically-acclaimed 'A CRASH COURSE IN CATASTROPHE' album back in April this year via CADIZ MUSIC/CREATIONYOUTH, the newly formed record label by legendary KILLING JOKE bassist and producer MARTIN ‘YOUTH’ GLOVER and CREATION RECORDS guru and industry icon ALAN MCGEE, SEVENDIALS’ debut successfully reflects all of the tension, angst and spiritual bankruptcy of our times and is a diverse, dark and intense piece of work.

Sevendials now return with a new EP featuring their inspired revisioning of the 1984 Top 20 hit ‘Obsession’ by American synth-pop band Animotion - this time featuring NYC latex burlesque performer, DJ and solo artist ASHLEY BAD on guest vocals. The ‘Obsession’ EP also features two electro dancefloor remixes by legendary producer and Killing Joke bassist YOUTH.

Originally hailing from the NYC scene, ASHLEY BAD is a Los Angeles based solo artist & DJ who combines Film Noir lyrical influences with Goth & Electronic soundscapes. Drawing from her experience performing with cult glam-punk band The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, and her years of performing as an international Latex Burlesque Performer in New York, she has become a featured DJ on the US darkwave & kink scene and released several independent singles.
