When Dinosaurs Became TOO BIG for the Planet…

We share the planet with some truly impressively sized land animals in the modern day. All it takes is to look at the wildlife of the open African plains to get a taste of the megafauna that still walks our world - elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses and hippopotamuses can really help to put into perspective just how small we are. These are some of the largest animals alive today, but, amazingly, all of them pale in comparison to the very largest of the large - the colossal sauropod dinosaurs that thrived the world over in the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods.
