Welcome to Baguio, Bishop Rafael Tambaoan Cruz!
Last Tuesday, on September 17th, 2024, Most. Rev. Rafael T. Cruz was officially took over as the Bishop of Baguio after a solemn rite of canonical installation, succeeding Bishop Victor Bendico who is now the appointed Bishop of Capiz.
Presided over by Most Rev. Charles J. Brown, D.D. Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, as the installing prelate, and His Eminence Jose Advincula, D.D. as the Homilist for the Eucharistic Celebration, Most. Rev. Rafael Cruz's installation and plans for further synodality hinges on this mantra; "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?" - echoing the initiative and emulation of Jesus as our role model and center that defines our faith.
