Dehriwal village is located in Tehsil and District Amritsar, before 1947 people of different religions lived here peacefully. But when the situation worsened in 1947, Muhammad Sadiq's father left his children in grandfather's village in Chhina Chakki so that they could be safe from the attack. But there was also an attack and the entire village was killed. Meanwhile Muhammad Sadiq's father along with the rest of the family came to the village of Rasulpur near Dehriwal. Where Muslims gathered from the surrounding villages. But alas, there was an attack led by the Dogra army and all the people were killed. Women were burned alive.
