Ombyggnad i Angered

Stora förändringar genomfördes i Angereds centrum med början strax före övergång till sommartidtabell i juni 2012. Spårvagnarna skulle få tre avgångsspår och bussterminalen byggas om. Under sommartidtabellen var spårvagnstrafiken avstängd mellan Angered och Gamlestadstorget. Bussar ersatte dels genom särskilda ersättningsbussar som trafikerar alla spårvagnshållplatser, dels genom att förlänga linjerna 73, 75 och 76 från Angered direkt till Gamlestadstorget. Under ombyggnadstiden på ca ett år fanns en tillfällig bussterminal i Angered vid Lidl där gamla Shellmacken låg. Vid Gamlestadstorget byggdes en tillfällig terminal. Där parkeringen legat i Angered började man också bygga det nya sjukhuset i januari 2013. Det invigdes 10 september 2015. Titteridammsvägen intill byggdes om och fick en ny cykelbana. Övre Storåsvägen flyttades en bit söderut 2014.

Major changes were carried out in the center of Angered, beginning just before the transition to the summer timetable in June 2012. The trams would get three departure track and the bus terminal rebuilt. During the summer timetable were trams off between Angered and Gamlestadstorget. Buses was replaced partly by the specific replacement buses plying all tram stops, firstly, by extending the lines 73, 75 and 76 from Angered directly to Gamlestadstorget. During the renovation period of around one year, there was a temporary bus terminal in Angered at Lidl where the old Shell petrol station was before. In Gamlestadstorget they built a temporary terminal. Where the car park was in Angered before they also began to build the new hospital in January 2013. It was inaugurated on September 10, 2015. Titteridammsvägen next to it was rebuilt and got a new bike path. Upper Big Åsvägen was moved a bit south in 2014.
