Margherita and Greer will dialogue about the development of their practice as psychotherapists, its impact on them and their relationship with their clients. They will share their own experiences of Gestalt therapists as well as of trainers. They will focus on the importance of the self care of the practitioner and the enhancement of their relational skills. Margherita will describe her reflections on the importance of working on the ground experience of ourselves and of our clients, to re-gain the sense of safety after the collective trauma of living through a pandemic. They will also explore dynamics of reciprocity between the therapist and the client: a basic tool to support spontaneity in their daily interactions.
