D&D Characters With Real Wounds, Real Motivations

Hello everyone and welcome! In this video, I'm putting my creative worksheets to the test.

I'm building a Dungeons and Dragons character who has a ton of depth - think emotional wounds, flaws, and motivation. I'm building a world and game around them using my worksheets and a bit of imagination.

To begin, I'm using my D100 to roll for their trait, occupation, and that all-important adventure hook. Next, I roll for conflict and the type of emotional wound they'll have. This helps create an adventure plot and paves the way for true character development, which will be rewarded in-game.

We're all about storytelling and narrative at Loren Makes Videos. So, with this game, I'm fleshing out my character first and building the world around them using my own resources from my Patreon!

As I develop this game, I will be working on my Anne Boleyn adventure. Who knows, maybe this new side quest could turn into a companion game?
