The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, His Grace Ignatius Kaigama and a cross section of the Archdiocesan membership received the Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria, Archbishop Michael Francis Crotty on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the Entrance of Our Lady Queen of Nigeria, Pro-Cathedral, Abuja.
The Papal Nuncio was the Chief Celebrant of the Holy Mass, assisted by the Archbishop of Abuja and host of Priests during which 244 candidates were confirmed. He was presented with a life size patriate of himself and a purse by the host Community.
Preceding the Homily, he appreciated the warm reception given to him. He spoke of his two fold Mission- Civil and Religious; the out pouring of the Holy Spirit at Confirmation and the two unique Mothers- Mary the Mother of our Saviour, Jesus Christ and Elizabeth the Mother of John the Baptist.
