In The Other Guys, Will Ferrell stars as Allen Gamble, a mild-mannered forensic accountant, and Mark Wahlberg as Terry Hoitz, a hot-tempered detective who’s been sidelined for accidentally shooting Derek Jeter. As New York City’s top cops (Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) dominate the headlines, Allen and Terry are left to handle the “less exciting” police work.
