First video ever, please be gentle.
I try to explain here my method to remove the frame rivets of my 1946 WDX. its quite a chore, but can be done somewhat efficiently.
I swear to god, I removed all the other brackets using this method in less than 5 minutes per, and this one, because I'm filming, took me a good 15-20 minutes....
Also, When I'm referring to the frame riveting method to not be nice, I'm talking about maintenance (or removal) of the rivets. Riveting a frame with hot rivets is actually a very good assembly method because during installation, they conform perfectly to the size of the hose and tension is created, creating a tighter joint.
