I’ve been seeing a lot of people ask about budget gear recommendations online, and I saw there weren’t too many in depth reviews looking strictly at the xone 23, so I decided to make my own for any dj’s struggling to make a decision between budget mixers. Ultimately, you get what you pay for, and it sounds a lot better than other 2 channel mixers you can find in the same price range (DJM 250mk2, Numark M series). If you’re using vinyl, I’d definitely recommend the 23 over the djm 250 mk2, especially if you’re more of a mix/blend dj. The phono pre amps sound a lot better, though I have heard the FX send and return can be a bit iffy. The inputs are also a bit quiet, but they’re enough to hit close to +6db. It’ll also depend on what kind of cartridges you’re using, and how loud their output is. Expect more mixes n music soon, cheers!
