Thank you Kojima Productions for releasing this game a few days before my birthday... it was fun to experience this fresh!
The scene can trigger any time you enter the DHV Magellan after clearing Delivery Mission 9. Which is amusing, because at that point, I hadn't technically encountered half the characters in this scene!
After watching the scene, you also unlock a corpus entry for Birthday Cake (Apple Rose Tart) which is a real, in-depth recipe on how to make the cake in the cutscene. The recipe is by a real Tokyo catering company, who did in fact make that cake for Kojima in the past!
Also included is the interactions when calling out near a player structure. Cute.
