IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE LATE DAVID MWANZIA MUEKE - AT MWITIKA, KITUI

BIRTH
The late David Mwanzia Mueke was born on 21/07/1977 at Nzokoni village, Kilaa Sub-Location, Mwitika Location, Kitui County. He was the first born son of Agnes Mueni Mueke and the late Mueke Nyamu. He was brother to Eunice Martha Malai, Malombe Mueke, Muvata Mueke, Savali Kiema, John Mueke, Kilonzo Mueke and Janet Ebenezer. He was brother-in-law to Alex Malai Mutie and Ebenezer Musembi. He was Uncle to Zipporah Kaindi Malai, Mary Muthoni Malai, Joshua Mutie Malai, Agnes Mueni Malai, Elizabeth Monica Malai, Magdalene Kakii Malai, Peter Mueke Malai, Josephine Malombe, Boniface Malombe, Katui Muvata, Josephine Muvata, David Mueke Muvata, Nicholas Muvata, Agnes Muvata, Anthony Mueke, Justina Mumbua, Gabriel Matei, Bonie Kitili and Benson Mandela. He was cousin to Kilonzo Matoma, Kilonzo Musyoka, Jacob Matoma, Matoma Mauta, Bonie Tito, Mwendwa Musyoka, Janet Mulatya among others. He was Nephew to Kolo Nyamu, Munyao Nyamu, Kimena Nyamu, Muasa Nyamai, Tito Kilonzo, Peter Kisovi, Christine Kanyiva Matoma, Patricia Mauta, Mbithe Tito, Agnes Musyoka, Catherine James, Kavutha Kitili, Patricia Kyandi and others. He was Grandson to Muvata Nyamu and late Munda Malombe. He was son-in-law to Francis Maweu and Florence Mwelu, brother-in-law to Mukulu, Abdi & Mumbua, Mwongela & Nzalu, Mutuku & Nduku, Nicholas & Mutheu, Kyalo & Katunge, Kyengo & Nthemba, Winnie Munee and Wambua & Mumbe. He was Uncle to Mwende, Alima, Musee, Emmanuel, Victor, Victoria, Alex and Cecilia.
EDUCATION
The late David Mwanzia joined Mwitika Primary School in 1982 and finished his primary education in 1990.
WORK
After school the late David moved to Kathonzweni in Makueni County where he began his clothe business and later shifted to Machakos County where he was employed as a home manager from the year 2000 - 2004 by retired Principal Kathekakai Secondary School and a music teacher Mr. Titus Muli where he developed a great passion in Music. Through late John Muinde, he got to develop the music career together with his friends; Omar, Cornelius Kioko, Bon Mbiu among others. He became a music composer, Trainer, adjudicator and Practitioner. He nurtured many others like the late Albanus Mutua through his musical life. Till his demise he was Music Director at Mutituni Parish and on top he was composing and training music in different churches and denominations.
MARRIAGE
David married his beloved wife Caroline Muthoki David in 2006 and they were blessed with two daughters namely; Clara Mumbua and Adela Mueni. They solemnized their marriage on 26/04/2014 at St. Josephs Catholic Church Mutituni.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
The late David was baptized on 2/04/1994 at Zombe Catholic Church. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church Mutituni where he was a member of St. Paul Small Christian Community.
DEMISE
David enjoyed good health. On 7/12/2022 the late David was involved in a fatal road accident at Susan Lodge along Machakos - Wote Road at around 5.45pm on his way home after conducting Music practice at A.B.C Mbukuni. He was rushed to Machakos Level 5 Hospital where he was promoted to glory shortly after admission.
He died at the age of 45 years. He has left behind his wife and two daughters.
