What happens in a world where everything is “racist”? | Brendan O’Neill

Brendan O’Neill spoke to an audience of over 200 people on political correctness and cancel culture. It’s hard to take ideas seriously in a world where everything is considered racist.

O’Neill has become a leading voice in the battle for free speech — from the assault on free expression to the erosion of civil liberties, he confronts the forces that seek to regulate thought. Brendan warns us about the stripping away the values and virtues that once defined us as a culture and a society.

He examines the two radical movements that have become popular among young people: the push for “decolonisation” and climate change catastrophising. These movements leave young people in a permanent limbo of dread, stuck between hatred of the past and fear of the future.
