This episode of Street Journals is all about shooting street photography using black and white film. I experiment with HP5 and XP2 loaded in the Yashica T5.
I had these rolls developed in Jessops (XP2) and Snappy Snaps (HP5, please don't tear me to pieces). The HP5 came back really contrasty and blown out, probably due to the scanning process they use.
I also found that the Yashica T5 is pretty slow when it comes to autofocus and can be quite hit and miss. The majority of the shots I got back were out of focus, usually focused on the background. This camera is great due to its size and anonymity, however I haven't utilised it effectively. Something I endeavour to do properly in the future.
