Join us on an incredible 11-day road trip adventure from Broome to the stunning Karijini National Park and back. We're taking you along for the ride as we explore some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Western Australia (stunning beaches, rugged gorges, and much more). From camping under the stars to cooling off in Karijini’s natural swimming holes, it truly was an incredible road trip experience.

🗺️ Itinerary Summary:

Day 1: Sydney to Broome ✈️
Flew from Sydney to Broome via Perth. Picked up the rental car and camping supplies. Stayed overnight at Kimberley Sands Resort.

Day 2: Broome to Eighty Mile Beach
Drove to Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park, stopping for fuel at Sandfire Roadhouse. Set up the tent and watched the sunset on the beach.

Day 3: Eighty Mile Beach
A full day spent relaxing and walking along Eighty Mile Beach.

Day 4: Eighty Mile Beach to Port Hedland
Drove to Port Hedland, refuelling at Pardoo Station. Checked into Discovery Parks, bought groceries at Woolworths, and walked around the port area.

Day 5: Port Hedland to Karijini (Tom Price)
Drove to Karijini National Park, stopping for fuel at Auski Tourist Village. Explored Hamersley Gorge and the Spa Pool. Drove to Tom Price and checked into Tom Price Tourist Park.

Day 6: Tom Price to Dales Campground
Packed up camp and bought groceries at Coles in Tom Price. Visited the Tom Price visitor centre, then drove to Mt Bruce in Karijini National Park to hike the Honey Hakea Track. Checked into Dales Campsite and swam at Fortescue Falls.

Day 7: Karijini Gorge Exploration (Weano Area)
Spent the day exploring the gorges accessible from the Weano Day Use Area: Weano Gorge (including Handrail Pool), Hancock Gorge, and the Oxer Lookout Trail. Also visited Kalamina Gorge before returning to Dales Campground for another swim at Fortescue Falls.

Day 8: Karijini Gorge Exploration (Dales & Joffre Area)
Explored Joffre Gorge and Knox Gorge. Stopped by the Karijini Eco Retreat's general store. Walked the Dales Gorge Rim Trail and the Dales Gorge Trail, visiting Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool.

Day 9: Karijini to Port Hedland
Drove from Dales Campground back to Port Hedland. Checked into the Discovery Parks campsite, walked to a nearby beach, and had dinner at Rays Port Hedland.

Day 10: Port Hedland to Broome
Drove from Port Hedland back to Broome, stopping at Pardoo Roadhouse and Sandfire Roadhouse for fuel. Checked into the Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa. Watched the sunset from Cable Beach and had dinner at the Sunset Bar & Grill.

Day 11: Departure from Broome ✈️
Morning walk on Cable Beach, followed by breakfast and time at the hotel pool. Drove to Broome Airport for an afternoon flight back to Sydney via Perth.
