Types of Boilers (Fire tube & Water tube)

There are many types of boilers, including:

Fire tube boiler:
A classic boiler type where hot gases pass through tubes and water circulates around them to create steam. Fire tube boilers are affordable and easy to operate.

Water tube boiler
Water is circulated through tubes that are heated by hot gases. Water tube boilers are used in industrial facilities, thermal power plants, and ships.

Vertical water tube boiler
A type of water tube boiler that is oriented vertically, rather than horizontally. Early steam locomotives used vertical water tube boilers.

Condensing boiler
Uses natural gases and two heat exchangers to extract heat from waste gases. This makes condensing boilers the most efficient type of boiler.

Package boiler
A boiler that is delivered to the site fully assembled and only needs to be connected to the required systems.

Electric boiler
Uses electricity to generate heat. Electric boilers are compact, efficient, and easy to install, making them a good option for small spaces.

D-type boiler
A watertube boiler with a large steam drum at the top and a smaller water drum at the bottom. The steam-generating tubes connect the two drums and carry feed water.
