Vintage race cars participating in the Rolex Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca raceway were escorted by California Highway Patrol (CHP) to Alvarado Street in historic downtown Monterey. The event was free to attend.

Monterey Car Week 2025 (August 8-17) features several main events, including the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the prestigious car show finale on August 17; the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion with historic car races from August 13-16; and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, an exclusive event on August 15. Other key events include Exotics on Broadway (Free) and Concours d'Lemons (Free) on August 15, the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance on August 14, and major automotive auctions such as Mecums and RM Sotheby's throughout the week.

The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion features a broad range of vintage and historic race cars, with featured groups and exhibitions rotating annually to highlight specific marques or eras, including Formula 1 cars, IMSA GTP cars, Can-Am racers, Trans-Am cars, Grand Prix cars, and specific models like Porsche 935s, Chevrolet Corvette, Maserati 250Fs, Shelby Daytonas, and Chaparral 2s.
