taiwan vlog: shopping in taipei, cafes, local eats, exploring tainan, capybara farm ✩°｡ ⋆

my 2nd time in taiwan—this time with my boyfriend (who's taiwanese) and exploring new and old sights. it's amazing how i got to experience both climates in just 1 trip: it was cool in taipei (sometimes really cold and windy at night) and summer weather in tainan.

some of my favourite places to eat/shop/visit—especially if it's your first time in taiwan!
— bafang yunji dumplings 八方云集: there are a lot of branches so pick the closest one to you
— the master spicy noodle zhongshan 大师兄销魂面铺: a really comforting bowl of noodles, + soup, especially when it's cold out
— UR living nanxi: this fashion collective has quite a few branches too but their nanxi store is their flagship
— shin kong mitsukoshi taipei xinyi place: a great place to go shopping, they do quite a lot of pop-ups here (like the hince one) so make sure to do your research before you come!
— tamsui 淡水: local eats, the sea and a museum to boot? it's a great way to spend an afternoon
— qingtiangang grassland 擎天岗: located in yangmingshan, it's a grassy, hilly lava plateau that's home to wild buffalo and great for hiking
