ProX Almost Ruined My DJ Gig (But this mirror ball motor is still pretty cool)

The shiny mirror ball has been a staple of DJ lighting for many years, and is still a popular effect that has a retro and elegant charm. Mobile wedding DJs have struggled for years with displaying the disco ball in a convenient way.

ProX has recently released the X-MOTOS a mirror ball motor that the disco ball sits on top of. It's minimalistic and has a really small footprint.

I had a client request a mirror ball for their Barbie-themed school dance, so I thought I'd make this video. But there's one major problem... I found that ProX's universal mirror ball motor might not be so universal... I go over all of that in this video as well a solution.
