Using 5 pairs of bobbins. Working the curve.
This technique uses a twist and a change of worker on the inside of the curve and is worked without using a pin. This gives a smooth, even edge to the inner curves, with the outside edge pins holding the tape in place. The twists on the connecting bars are dictated by the thread used and the size of the pattern (not a pricking because Idrija patterns are never pre-pricked). To practice with the thread/pattern size can save a lot of frustration later.
