국토교통부가 2012년 한강 살리기 사업의 일환으로 조성한 약 50만 M2의 광대한 면적에 수변생태공원을 만들었고, 2024년 강변산책로 오른쪽은 노란코스모스, 왼쪽은 코스모스를 식재하여 장관을 이루고 있으며, 봄에는 이곳에 양귀비를 심어 봄,여름,가을 언제고 볼거리가 있는 수도권의 생태공원입니다.
