Vintage Axe Restoration and Sheath Creation using Hand tools only

I picked up an old Kent patterned Whitehouse brothers axe for $20 and decided to restore it.
The head was quite rusty and the top of the timber handle was rotten but I managed to save the beautifully shaped 'scroll knob' handle by lowering the head down the timber slightly.
As a leatherworker I naturally had to made an axe sheath for my new axe so I used a 4mm think vegetable tanned leather with a solid brass snap. Finished with neatfoot oil and pure beeswax the sheath is the perfect accomplice.
