Multi-Use Film Test Cartridges are designed to test a wide range of sample types and ensure accurate, repeatable results. All cartridges are interchangeable between OTR and WVTR for precisely controlled RH testing, with optional 100% RH testing version for WVTR:

Standard 50 cm2 Film Test Cartridge - This standard-size cartridge makes it easy to prepare and mount samples on your workbench
Extra cartridges allow staging of samples to increase lab throughput
Options for both two and four-cell instruments

Reduced Area Film Test Cartridge - for higher permeation materials or limited sample sizes, this reduced area cartridge extends the upper detection level of your analyzer.
Cheaper, less labor-intensive and more accurate than using aluminum foil masks
No adhesive required - allows reuse of sample

Edge Effect Film Test Cartridge - this cartridge allows accurate testing of barriers with inherent leakage through the edge, such as coated paper materials.
Unique “Dam” design seals the edge of the sample from ambient air or moisture
Options for both two and four-cell instruments

High Temperature Film Test Cell - this remote film test cell is designed for use in environmental chambers and allows testing at higher temperatures.
Central clamping point provides accuracy and repeatability
Sample test area: 50 cm2


Specialized Film Test Cartridges are cartridges designed to test a wide range of sample types and ensure accurate, repeatable results:

Remote Testing Cartridge Adaptor - this cartridge adaptor fits into your instrument to allow testing with a remote film test cell or package testing fixtures.
Allows for easy access to fittings while installed
Adaptor requires drawer with removable gate

Contact Lens Test Cartridge - this special test cartridge is designed to hold contact lenses for OTR testing.
Sponges allow 100% RH testing environment
Allows accurate and repeatable gas permeation testing of contact lens

Blister Testing Cartridge - this special cartridge is designed to test blister packages.
Options available to test pre-filled or empty blisters
Pre-filled cavity size: 0.650” tall x 3.1” diameter (1.651x7.874 cm)
Empty cavity size: 0.570” tall x 3.022” diameter (1.448x7.676 cm)

Standard 80 cm2 Package Test Cartridge - this standard package test cartridge allows a wide range of packages to be tested.
Uses thin foils with sweep gas hole for package mounting
Perimeter clamp design holds test foils to the fixture
Single-use foils eliminate need to remove epoxy from plates
Truseal® flush ring at perimeter ensures a leak-free seal

Package Adaptor Cartridge - this base cartridge allows testing of complete packages, unique package types and closures.
Vertical fittings for package test configurations

Capture Volume Test Cartridge - these capture volume test chambers are ideal for pre-filled sample testing.

Film Test Cartridge (for package test instrument) - this cartridge allows testing of traditional film or NIST films samples on a package testing instrument or fixture.
