Opal Belemnites are probably my fave opal formation on the planet. Even the sand shot pieces can yield something which is what happens in this video.
It is always sad to perform so much surgery but at least we end up with some great doublet material! Gotta love Australian opal but Coober Pedy Belemnites are almost in their own league.
