Volunteers from Laois community groups interested in community garden establishment or expansion toured Carlow Community Gardens. Organised by the Climate Action section of Laois County Council to support applications to the Community Climate Action Programme fund, the tour took in 4 different gardens.
In this video we hear from Elderflower Gardening Club, Carlow town as they go through some essentials for a community food growing garden. Hear their experience in turning a small grey space into an oasis of plants and community in the centre of Carlow town.
Applications close for Community Climate Action Programme funding in Laois Tuesday 16th December at 4.30 pm.
