Today I'm cleaning my gravity feed iron with the Rowenta Soleplate Cleaning Kit. I like this kit, but I also think that there are probably cheaper ways to clean your iron!
My iron was very dirty -- I had a lot of blobs of fusible interfacing glue burned on the plate, and I had a mysterious long rust stripe across the center, but after cleaning, my iron looks almost new, so I'd say the cleaning was a success!
