Ft. Myers Beach Vacation Guide | Hotel Casa Playa, Dining, Bike Rides & Ocean Views - Carry-on ONLY!

Welcome to Part 2 of our Southwest Florida carry-on only travel adventure! 🌴 In this vlog, we leave Sanibel Island and head to Ft. Myers Beach, a beautiful beachfront paradise on Estero Island.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Casa Playa, a budget-friendly beachfront hotel located on the north end of Ft. Myers Beach. Our stay in the “Dolphin Watch” room (#403) gave us incredible Gulf Coast views — at a much better price than Sanibel Inn! While there’s still some construction from Hurricane Ian, the rebuilding efforts didn’t stop us from having an amazing experience.

🚲 Biking, Dining & Nightlife
One of the best parts of staying at Casa Playa was how close everything was! We biked to local restaurants, bars, and live music spots along Estero Blvd and Old San Carlos Blvd — turning a casual ride into a fun bar crawl.

Along the way, Lindsay enjoyed plenty of Miami Vice frozen cocktails, Nick tried local craft beers, and we soaked up every bit of that Florida sunshine.
