Painter and CHF Fellow Donna Lee Nyzio doesn’t like computers. It makes sense that her business plan before COVID-19 wasn’t especially virtual—and it didn’t feel right to completely change it in the wake of the pandemic. Donna talks about how she and two other artists became long-distance accountability partners, keeping each other going in their studios with text updates, checking on each other’s art sales channels, and encouraging each other to stay in touch with their collectors. Virtual studio tours may never be her thing, and Donna’s a great example of how to balance pressure to change with an instinct to stay the course. www.paintedworld.com
