Grindelwald ‘First’ is an area located 2168m above sea level on the slopes of Schwarzhorn above the town of Grindelwald. It is popular for its cable car station. This area acts as a starting point for several activities like hiking and adventure sports. Apart from these, this area houses ‘First Cliff walk’ that offers a breath-taking view of the alps.
After an hour hike, one can reach the beautiful and scenic ‘Bachalpsee’. This hike is not only to reach the lake but also to enjoy and experience the magnificently landscaped path that leads through lush flowering alpine meadows.
