Here is my video that I shot myself of the end of the last ever Bridgeport Bluefish game which was at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT which took place on 09-17-2017 and was vs the Somerset Patriots.
This was the end of an era as it was known by then that the ballpark was going to be turned over into an amphitheater for concerts which it now hosts concerts as Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater so this was going to be the last Bluefish game as a result. Sad for me as I live nearby and love this team so much and I went there a lot over the years, but at least I was able to get to a lot of games at the end to say goodbye and the Bluefish were closing the regular season at home which they just missed out on the playoffs unfortunately so at least we got to say goodbye at home. The Bluefish didn't get to close out with a win here unfortunately, but they had a amazing final season just barley missing winning their division in both halves to make the playoffs so I'm happy about that and that we got an amazing final season to go out on. Thanks to the Bluefish for all of the amazing memories they left me with over the years and may they continue to RIP unfortunately.
