Condensate Separator and Filter EN

A condensate separator with an integrated filter is mounted in-line between the gas extraction probe and the analyzer.
It is designed to remove moisture and dirt from the sample gas. Therefore, avoiding moisture and dirt entering the gas analyzer.

There are various designs out there, not all of them make their users happy. I don’t want to go in detail here, most of you will know what I am talking about, especially when you have one of those.

We have designed our condensate separator to be large and have excellent filtering capability.
It is easy to monitor, easy to access and easy to empty.
You really want this device to protect your analyzer as good as possible, and that is exactly what it does!

Today we will review two versions of condensate separators, version one can be found in the AMPRO 2000 and OPTIMA 7, and version two, which is the standard condensate separator in the AMPRO plus emissions analyzer and the OPTIMAX biogas analyzer. I will talk about the differences a little later.

Whenever your condensate separator was disassembled, even if you only emptied it, I always recommend performing an analyzer leak test to ensure that nothing has gone wrong during assembly, and you will be assured that your analyzer has no leakages, which if there were – everything measured would be inaccurate!!
