Indulge Me: Zach Aaronson's Birthday Dreams Come True

Fulfilling a lifelong Leo-coded dream by presenting my own full length cabaret show for my 35th Birthday!! An evening of the songs and messages that live in the center my heart, my favorite pop culture trivia, and the moments in my life that made me who I am.

WHAT I FORGOT TO SAY IN THE SHOW!! I left out the main thesis statement! I was stressed about time and rushed past it:

I've learned that overindulging myself in cannabis, drinking, food, attention...it doesn't fill the void, take away those challenging emotions permanently or nourish my soul. While there is a time and a place for some self-indulgence, what makes me feel good is indulging others, showering them with love, supporting and being there for the people who matter to me. Helping friends and sober fellows in need helps ME just as much as it helps them. I can't control my indulgence when it comes to drugs, alcohol, food and even shopping. I'm an addict of all things. But I can spread love and joy, overcome my self-loathing, doubts and insecurities, and strive to be a better person.
