STORYLINE

Jewish settlements dotted around the occupied territories in the West Bank are considered by many as one of the real obstacles to peace. The Israeli government has said it will dismantle illegal outposts built to protect nearby Jewish settlements. But critics claim the small outposts are growing and further encroaching on Palestinian land.
