[For if you don’t know much about the story]


if you don’t know what stalker is, then we’re on the same boat. i’ve never played any of the stalker games. from what i understand is that the story of the server takes place a couple of years after the events of the games, in 2013 to be precise, around chernobyl which people refer to as the zone. basically all you need to know is that a soviet scientist cracked through some dimension that caused massive amounts of radiation emissions to plague the zone. anomalies start to form, creatures become mutated, and factions are constantly fighting over control of the zone. and those who roam the lands are called stalkers. there are 5 main factions. bandits, freedom, duty, ecologists, and monolith. there’s also free stalkers. Free stalkers is any stalker not in a faction. they’re basically free agents. bandits is pretty self explanatory, nobody likes bandits. freedom is trying to bring back free access to the zone secrets and wonders, where as duty is trying to control/lock off everything from the rest of the world through their military might. and they don’t like eachother. ecologists are scientists who are researching zone for the betterment of humanity. and last we have monolith. who are basically just fanatics who wreak havoc on everyone and everything. nobody likes monolith. with that out of the way, i start out this journey in skadvosky, an abandoned ship that has been turned into a trading hub for free stalkers. here you can find work, weapons, and everything you could possibly need to survive here.
