Looking for a great bookstore in Central Florida? We visited the Family Book Shop during Banned Books Week and it's one of the best bookstores we have ever visited. Located on Woodland Blvd. in Deland, this gem of a bookstore has over 400,000 books to choose from, used and new. Everything is very organized - no need to hunt through a pile of books - and prices are very reasonable. They also have an exchange program where you can bring in used books for a trade credit.
The day we visited they were highlighting banned books in Volusia County and also everywhere in the U.S. as part of Banned Books Week in October.
A wonderful place to shop and spend some time and money.
